Inseparable Love

READ
CONSIDER
Nothing can ever separate you from God’s love. The same love that fills you. The same love that produces fruit in your life. The same love that draws people to God through your life. The same love you are to disciple others through as you lead them into a relationship with Jesus.
That means the love in you that anchors you to God and gives you everything you need for every good work God prepared in advance for you to do isn’t going anywhere. It cannot be taken away. It cannot be destroyed. It cannot be revoked. It can only be neglected or ignored.
But...why would we want to do that? Obviously, we wouldn’t. The way to keep it in front of us all the time is to nurture it through prayer, praise, and proclamation.
REFLECT
Commit to reading these verses every day for at least a week. Shift the words to a first-person, personal articulation, and make this a prayer. “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate me from God’s love...”
If you want to experience an even more powerful prayer of proclamation, do this for Romans 8:31-39. “If God is for me, who can ever be against me? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for me...”
PRAY
Father God, I know nothing can separate me from your love. May that embolden me to step into each day with a readiness to face whatever comes my way and an eagerness to tell the story of how your goodness and mercy and the power of the blood of Jesus has changed by life! Amen.
