Week 6 | Thursday

Read: Psalm 84:1-12

How do you get ready for church? Set an alarm clock, pick out your clothes, make sure you look presentable and leave with enough time to hit Starbucks, Biggby, or Foster on the way to service. Right? That’s not what I mean.

How do you prepare your heart to gather with other people to consider the attributes of God and say, “Wow!” Do you pray, sit in silence, or show up early? Do you listen to worship music in the car the whole way to the building? Talk to the kids about what they might be doing during services? Ask God to use you in some way to impact someone else while you’re there?

Ask God to affirm or challenge you as you seek to become more complete through your engagement at church.
