Burdens & Benefits

We live in a time and culture filled with Christians who disproportionately focus on the benefits of our faith while neglecting the burdens it requires. In essence, this reduces Jesus' command to deny ourselves, be crucified with him, and follow his way to an abstract idea rather than the clarion call. 

This should not be. This sermon takes us into the garden, when God says no to his only begotten son, AND where Jesus shows us what bearing burdens with holy confidence looks like.
