James 4 is about our heart's devotion. When we fail to guard our hearts above all else, we run the risk of drifting our way into spiritual adultery. We find our trust and affection shifting toward the way of the world while trying try maintain friendship with God, which is really like cheating on God with the way of the world. How do we protect against this?
