People struggle to believe in Jesus because our disunity damages his testimony. We fight too hard for our own way and when we feel threatened, we plant our feet and stand our ground...instead of bending our knee and carrying our cross. We are not the heroes of our story and we will never be fully united without God’s protection from the things that divide us. This is why Jesus prays for God's protection for the sake of our unity.
